Drobo dashboard unable to download apps how to#
I don’t know how to “check /mnt/DroboFS/System/tmp/locale.YL1q3X/wget.log for more information” as it says to in the log. Log from droboappsLL.log when i use the Get Diags in Dashboard. I think installs were working before I installed a new router, but not sure why my router might block Drobo from downloading an app. I’m hoping someone here can help without me having to reset my drobo completely (considering a drobo pack can be moved to a new unit, i’m guessing that i can power down, remove drives, reset to factory, power down, re-insert drives and not lose my data) I’ve reinstalled the firmware manually a couple of times. I’ve even deleted any other hidden files associated to app installs within that folder. I have read other posts and have attempted the delete the file “/mnt/DroboFS/Shares/DroboApps/.servicerc” and reboot method twice with no success. I know how to manually install the apps and have done so in the past but I don’t like the complexity of it and want the simplicity that Drobo promises of installing via the dashboard. I can no longer get any applications to install via the Dashboard (they all uninstalled fine).
